Mauricio is from Brazil, and is married with one son. He has a Bachelor of Economics, an MBA and MA in Theology. He is currently the general manager of several FEC’s in Brazil.
Doug began his career at Busch Gardens Tampa in 1998, working through a variety of leadership roles and positions within the Merchandise Department, including VIP Tours, Vending, Revenue Auditing, Stroller Rental, and general retail operations. Following several years working with Busch Gardens, Doug joined Universal Orlando in 2004, serving management roles in both the Attractions Operations department as well as Parking & Transportation.
Following his time with Universal Orlando, Doug was part of the opening management team for Hard Rock Park in 2007, running the day to day operations as the Attractions Manager and working with a highly talented team to bring to life the park where rock comes to play.
While maintaining an active career within the theme park and attraction industry, Doug is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality, focusing on theme park and attraction management. Doug has also worked with AIMS and IAAPA in the role of show ambassadors for several expos both state side and Asian Attractions Expo, and is a young professional member of IAAPA while sitting on the Young Professional committee with IAAPA as well as Asian Membership Committee.
Doug’s hobbies include SCUBA diving, travelling, and visiting other theme parks.
Una joined Ocean Park as Director of Public Affairs in 2010. She leads the public affairs team in overseeing all public relations and corporate communications for Ocean Park.
Una has over 20 years of experience in public relations and corporate communications, with both in-house and PR agency exposure. She was with Sino Group during the past nine years, most recently as Assistant General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Communications. Una developed her expertise in corporate brand management, corporate communications, media relations, community relations and crisis management through tenures at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, Mary Chiang Associates Ltd., Chinese Television Network and Beckman Instruments.
Vice President of Employee Development, Human Resources, Themed Attractions and Resorts, Malaysia
Saberi is the Vice President of the Employee Development Department. He has been in training arena for more 14 years. He possesses a Bachelor of Science in HRD and a Master of Science in Corporate Communication. He is also a Certified Attractions Manager (ICAM), Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE) and Elite Member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). He has been recognized as the 1st KidZania Worldwide designated training specialist by the KidZania Central Government.
With his corporate training experience, he is instrumental in conducting in-house promotion boot camps, organization culture programs and facilitating the development programs for employee.
He is well known as a very energetic, outgoing and versatile person. He is a highly motivated individual with colourful character. His involvement in training program is beyond classroom.
Operations Manager for Safari Experiences, San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Tamara oversees all aspects of the tour operations and budget, and several wildlife presentation and holding areas. She serves on several committees including the San Diego Zoo’s Access Advisory Group and Wounded Warriors program. In her near 13 years at San Diego Zoo Global, Tamara has worked in Operations, Education, Tours and short periods with animal care. Outside of her Zoo life, Tamara is a wife and mother of two, and sits on the House Operations Committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. Prior to joining San Diego Zoo Global, Tamara worked in the export industry after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Tamara has a passion for travel, the study of culture, conservation and the preservation of the natural world. She is currently pursuing her MBA at George Washington University.
Corporate Legal Counsel, Liseberg, Gothenburg, Sweden
Victoria has a husband and two kids. She love horses, cows and all other animals and humans too.
Liseberg is one of the leading amusement parks in Europe and offers entertainment, attractions, restaurants and accommodation of the highest standard. Each year the park receives around 3.1 million visitors, making Liseberg one of the most visited destinations in Sweden. The amusement park has almost 40 attractions. They range from gentle children’s carousels and a fairy tale castle to dizzying high-speed rides, water rides, tall towers and terrifying ghosts. Liseberg also has six roller coasters. One of the best known is Balder, which has twice been voted the world’s best wooden roller coaster by international roller coaster aficionados. In 2014 Liseberg launched a new roller coaster Helix- longer and faster than the any other coaster in the park. It’s the parks biggest investment ever. Entertainment is also an important part of the park’s business, and each summer many of Sweden’s top artistes appear on our stages. Admission to the park is kept low so that those who want to can come into the park to watch a concert or simply admire the beautiful flowerbeds. Liseberg is owned by the Coty of Gothenburg (municipality).
Victoria been working as a Legal Counsel at Liseberg for almost 3 years. Prior to this she worked as a Legal Counsel at another municipality owned company, as a judge and in a government commission assigned by the Ministry of Education in Sweden. When she was in high school she worked at Liseberg for five years so the circle is closed as she has now returned in a different role. She mainly works with legal issues and compliance, but also with the board and company management.
CEO, Rainbow’s End Theme Park, Auckland, New Zealand
Chris has been involved in the industry over a cumulative period of 20 years including the last 12 in succession. Chris has worked his way up in the industry and has held his current position as CEO for the past 7 years. He is also involved in a number of tourism related advisory groups.
Prior to that Chris spent 7 years in the New Zealand Police Force where he worked in a variety of positions and approximately 3 years travelling and working through Europe, America and Southern Africa.
Chris is married to Tammy and has two boys, Connor aged 12 and Regan aged 9.
Away from work, Chris is an avid rugby fan, enjoys swimming, kayaking, boating and spending time with friends and family. His favourite holiday spot is Hahei Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand.
